A two-day online seminar started on economic security
24 February 2021Within the framework of the joint project of the National Security Council's Office and the NATO-Georgia Professional Development Program (PDP), a two day online seminar started on economic security.
The event was opened by Dr. Rosaria Puglisi, Head of the NATO Liaison Office, and Nino Iobashvili, Acting Head of the National Security Council's Office.
The seminar was led by Dominik Jankowski, Head of the Political Section of the Permanent Mission of Poland to NATO.
During the meeting, Dominik Jankowski reviewed in detail the current trends in economic security and practical examples of Eastern and Central European countries. Particular attention was paid to the intersection of national security and economic security issues. Also, during the training, the FDI screening policy in the EU was discussed.
The online seminar was attended by representatives of the National Security Council's Office, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, the State Security Service, the National Bank and the Ministry of Finance.
