Delegation from the Ministry of Defence of Denmark visited the NSC Office

Within the framework of visit to Georgia, delegation from the Ministry of Defence of Denmark, headed by Colonel Jens Erik Hjort, visited the Office of the National Security Council.
The Deputy Head of the NSC Office, Giorgi Ghibradze and the representatives from the National Crisis Management Center (Department) briefed the members of delegation regarding the crisis management system of Georgia and the priority areas for its further development within the Crisis Management Initiative of the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package (SNGP).
The parties agreed to deepen cooperation and defined future plans accordingly.
The visit held under the SNGP umbrella aiming at enhancement of Danish support to further strengthen Georgia’s defence and civil protection capabilities, as well as its national resilience.
The SNGP Crisis Management Initiative is led by the NSC Office and the Danish Emergency Management Agency (DEMA HQ).
