Deputy Assistant Secretary General of NATO for Emerging Security Challenges James Appathurai visited NSC Office

The Head of the National Security Council’s Office, Givi Tumanishvili, held a meeting with the Deputy Assistant Secretary General of NATO for Emerging Security Challenges, James Appathurai.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the topics of cooperation between NATO and Georgia and further prospects. In addition, they emphasized the successful implementation of the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package (SNGP) initiatives.
The parties also discussed the security environment and existing challenges in the region.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Head of the Office of National Security Council, Giorgi Ghibradze, Head of the NATO Liaison Office, Alexander Vinnikov, NATO Core Team Leader for SNGP, Colonel Norbert Hess, Deputy Permanent Representative of Georgia to NATO, Davit Nardaia, Second Secretary of the Euro-Atlantic Integration Coordination Division of the Euro-Atlantic Integration Department, Anna Baghbaia and the Heads of the departments of Council's office.
