Head of the NSC Office met with the Defence Attache of Switzerland in Georgia
10 March 2022The Head of the National Security Council’s Office, Givi Tumanishvili held an introductory meeting with the Defence Attache of Switzerland to Georgia, Daniel Rousselot.
During the meeting Givi Tumanishvili introduced the main functions and responsibilities of the National Security Council and it’s Office. He also addressed the key strategic directions and elaboration process of the national level conceptual documents coordinated by the NSC Office.
At the meeting the parties discussed ongoing developments in Ukraine and its impact on current security environment in the region. In this context, particular attention was paid to the existing security threats and challenges facing Georgia.
In the end, the parties also referred to the prospects of future cooperation.
The Director of Defence Department of the NSC Office, Tinatin Aghniashvili and the Director of the National Crisis Management Center (Department), Giorgi Ghibradze also attended the meeting.
