Head of the Office of the National Security Council held an introductory meeting with an Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Georgia
31 January 2020Head of the Office of the National Security Council, Kakhaber Kemoklidze held an introductory meeting with an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Norway to Georgia, Helene Sand Andresen.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the security environment in the region and the existing challenges, including current developments in the occupied territories of Georgia. The discussion was also focused on the cybersecurity, related threats and importance of future cooperation.
During the meeting, the attention was paid to the issue of the renewal of the national level conceptual documents (National Security Concept of Georgia, Threat Assessment Document of Georgia) and the mandate and role of the National Security Council’s Office in this process.
