Kakhaber Kemoklidze held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador of Israel to Georgia, Ran Gidor
15 July 2020The Head of the National Security Council’s Office, Kakhaber Kemoklidze held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Georgia, H.E. Mr. Ran Gidor.
At the meeting, the parties talked about Georgia’s national security architecture and the National Security Council’s mandate with this regard. Moreover, emphasis was placed on to the ongoing process of updating national level conceptual documents of Georgia.
Particular attention was paid on Georgia’s strategy in fighting against novel coronavirus (COVID 19) and especially, the importance of the National Situational Room operating under the National Security Council’s Office was highlighted.
At the meeting the parties underlined the importance of future cooperation between relevant agencies of the two countries.
