Meetings of the Georgian Cross Government Cyber Working Group (GCGC), on the Implementation of the Cybersecurity Reform, were held
14 May 2021With the coordination of the National Security Council’s Office, two-day meeting of the Georgian Cross Government Cyber (GCGC) Working Group, on the implementation of the cybersecurity reform, was organized.
The event was led by the Acting Head of the Office of the National Security Council, Sergo Turmanidze.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of NSC’s Office, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Internal Affairs, State Security Service and State Inspector’s Service. The representatives of the EU TWINNING Project ("Strengthening Cybersecurity Capacities in Georgia") and British experts also took part in the event.
The participants of the meeting discussed the ongoing reform in the field of cybersecurity, together with the draft National Cybersecurity Strategy and its Action Plan.
Meetings of the Georgian Cross Government Cyber (GCGC) Working Group will be held in the future.
