The UK Minister for European Neighbourhood and the America, Wendy Morton visited the National Situation Room

After the meeting with the Prime Minister, the UK Minister for European Neighbourhood and the Americas at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, Wendy Morton, with the Head of Administration of Georgian Government, Kakhaber Kemoklidze and the Acting Head of the National Security Council’s Office, Nino Iobashvili visited National Crisis Management Center – National Situation Room.
The Director of the National Crisis Management Center spoke about the specifics of the work of the National Situation Room, currently serving the Operational Headquarters on the Management of the State of Emergency under the Interagency Coordination Council established to combat COVID-19.
The Centre was created in accordance with the UK Cabinet Office Briefing Room or “COBR” concept and it was designed to function within the Georgian context.
