
Deputy Head of the Office


Nino Iobashvili serves as the Deputy Head of the National Security Council’s Office since August 2019.
In 2018-2019 she held the position of the Head of Analytical Division at Information-Analytical Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
Within the period of 2015-2018 she held the position of the Deputy Head of Analysis and Coordination Division at the Department of Information and Analysis at the State Security Service.
During 2012-2015 Nino Iobashvili served as the Deputy Head of Analysis and Coordination Division at the Department of Information and Analysis of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
From 2010-2012 she was the Senior Analyst at the Department of Information and Analysis of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
In 2009 Nino Iobashvili passed the 6-month internship at Bundestag (Parliament) of Federal Republic of Germany within the framework of International Parliamentary Scholarship.
Before the above-mentioned period she was intern at Appellate Court of Bremen, as well as at Highest Court of Bremen and at a law firm.
Nino Iobashvili is a graduate of the University of Bremen, Master’s Program of European and International Law and holds the academic degree of LL.M. Eur (DAAD-OSI Scholarship holder).
She graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Law, Department of International Law, Academic degree equalized to Master with honors.
Earlier, she graduated from the North Laurel High School in the USA as an exchange student (FLEX Scholarship holder).
Nino Iobashvili holds Law Certificate of Bar Association of Georgia.
She is fluent in English, German and Russian.
She is married.
