Givi Tumanishvili held an introductory meeting with the newly appointed U.S. Defence Attaché to Georgia

The Head of the National Security Council’s Office, Givi Tumanishvili held an introductory meeting with the Defence Attaché of the U.S.to Georgia, Joseph Bilbo.
Givi Tumanishvili elaborated on the structure and the main working directions of the Office. He introduced the ongoing projects and the drafting process of the national level conceptual documents coordinated by the NSC Office.
The parties underlined the significance of the current fruitful cooperation between the NSC Office and the U.S. Embassy in security field, and agreed on further strengthening defence relations.
The Deputy Head of the NSC Office, Giorgi Ghibradze and the Director of Defence Department, Tinatin Aghniashvili also attended the meeting.
