31 July 2020Head of the National Security Council’s Office, Kakhaber Kemoklidze had an online meeting with an Associate Director of the Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies (RUSI), Dr. Jonathan Eyal.
At the meeting, parties discussed ongoing processes and existing defence and security challenges in the region.
Kakhaber Kemoklidze informed Dr. Jonathan Eyal on functions of the National Security Council of Georgia and its Office, its mandate and key priorities.
Head of the National Security Council’s Office and RUSI’s Associated Director also discussed the future cooperation frameworks and prospects of deepening relations.
At the meeting, the parties also discussed the strategy and activities undertaken by the Government of Georgia during the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), as well as the role of the National Security Council’s Office in the crisis management process.
