
Representative of the NSC Office participated in the EU-Georgia Security and Defence Consultations

Within the framework of EU - Georgia Consultations, an interagency online meeting on Security and Defence was held.
The Director of the Department of Internal and External Security Affairs at the National Security Council’s Office, Sergo Turmanidze participated in the meeting. In his statement, the representative of the NSC Office elaborated, at some length, on the topic of cybersecurity, as well as hybrid threats and challenges facing Georgia. Particular attention was paid to the update on the ongoing reform in the field of cybersecurity and to the review of Hybrid Risk Survey.
Representatives of the relevant EU institutions and Georgian agencies also took part in the event.
The EU-Georgia Security and Defence Consultations will continue.
